Here at Bardon Anglican Church we value our children and think it is important to help them to grow in their life and faith. We have a number of children’s ministries organised through the church for those in primary school or not yet in school. We also have clear policies and procedures in place to make for a safe and welcoming environment for all children. Our children’s ministry is led by Rebecca King, very gifted with children and parents, and currently training for the priesthood.
Children Are Important
We have children involved in our services in different ways. They are very important in the life of the church. Upon arrival they are given to a welcome pack.
We also abide by very strict codes of conduct with children, according to our Diocese Code which can be accessed via the following link:
Religious Instruction at Schools
We are part of equipping state schools in religious instruction. Currently we have teachers at Bardon and Rainworth Schools. If you have questions about what we do or could be interested in volunteering in this amazing ministry please contact us for further information. This is a wonderful ministry and both the teachers and kids love participating each week.
Kids Club [Friday fortnightly]
This is group of kids meets for fun every second Friday evening. They enjoy some fun games and some time for talk about different things impacting their lives, including how they can grow in helping others and explore what they believe about God and everything. It is aimed at those in grades 5 to 12.
